從台北出發至翠峰步道(Blue Gates)車程約需 5 至 6 小時，您可走國道 3 號由草屯交流道下交流道，接台 14 線往埔里方向 , 再沿指示標誌往霧社方向 , 進入霧社後接台14甲線, 由16.5 K處左方岔路進入，到達翠峰步道藍色鐵門入口處(Blue Gate One)；由18K處左轉力行產業道路翠峰支線，經過700公尺右轉到達瑞岩步道藍色鐵門入口(Blue Gate Two)。

台中出發 , 可由中投公路往草屯 , 接台 14 線往埔里方向 , 再沿指示標誌往霧社方向 , 進入霧社後接台14甲線, 由16.5 K處左方岔路進入，到達Blue Gate One；由18K處左轉力行產業道路翠峰支線，經過700公尺右轉到達Blue Gate Two。沿線道路常因天候影響偶有落石 , 請小心駕駛 , 路程約 2 小時 40 分鐘左右。

Driving time to the Blue Gate Trails from Taipei is approximately 5 or 6 hours. Take Highway #3 south to the Caotun Exit and change to Highway #14 east toward Puli. Follow the signs toward Wushe. Continue past Wushe another 16.5 km to the Blue Gate #1 entrance on the left. To reach Blue Gate Trail #2, continue on to km 18 and turn left onto Cheifong farm road. Go another 700 m to the Blue Gate #2 entrance.

Leaving Taijhong, go to Caotun through Jhongtou Highway and join Highway #14 and follow the directions above. Watch out for falling rocks along the road in rainy weather. Driving time from Taijhong is about 2 hours and 40 minutes.
